2010 Clinic dates: April 23, 24 & 25.  April 27, 28, 29 & 30.

Auditors welcome for the 3 and 4 day clinics!

R ashid Clinics...CHECK OUT some photos of the people and horses that joined us in previous years!  There will be a 3-day clinic and a 4-day clinic. Auditors are welcome at both the 3 day and the 4 day clinics.   

•  Fees:  Cost of the 3 day clinics is $650.  Cost of the 4 day clinic is $810 plus a $7/day. 
•  Auditor Tickets: Auditing fee: $30/day.
• Format: 3 & 4 day clinic -  Half-day group format.  4 riders will ride for four hours in the morning with Mark, alternating turns so  you get individual help and then the rider will go practice.  A different 4 riders will ride in the afternoon.  Mark's wife Crissi is also available for help. 
• REG. TERMS:  All checks made payable to Kyya Grant. 
• 3 day clinics - A $100 Non-refundable deposit will hold a rider spot. The balance owed will be due Feb. 20th, 2010.
• 4 day clinic - A $150 Non-refundable deposit will hold a rider spot. The balance owed will be due Feb. 20th, 2010. 

CANCELLATIONS & WAITING LIST: I recommend putting yourself on the waiting list if you really want to ride with Mark. There are always rider cancellations and I go through many names to fill the clinics. I do need a full name, address and phone number to be put on the waiting list.

LIMITATIONS: Pets: No dogs.

LIABILITY & WAIVERS: Clinic participants must sign a Liability Release in order to ride at Bitterbrush. Riders are strongly encouraged to wear protective ATSM approved headgear while handling their horse and at all times while mounted.

CLINIC TIME:

• 3 and 4 day clinic: Will start at 8a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. Lunch willl be from noon to 1p.m. Arrangements can be made if you need to ride at a certain time. 

IF YOU WANT TO VIDEO TAPE: Mark allows riders to tape their own sessions. This is a great way to help remember things from your ride that you may forget.

BBW FACILITY: There is a 60 ft round pen and 100x80 arena to ride in.

ALL WEATHER RIDING: Clinic is rain or shine, so bring appropriate sun and rain gear for yourself and your horse.

BOARDING AND HORSE CAMPING:

• Camping: Riders may tent camp or sleep in their trailers or campers at no charge. It's a primitive setup, there are no electrical hook ups or showers. When you arrive, someone will meet you and help you park.
• Boarding: $7/night 20x20 cedar rail pens and 12x12 panel pens available. Hay may be available for purchase. Bring your water buckets. Riders must feed and water their own horses and muck pens every day.

LOCAL ACCOMMODATIONS: Motels are located in town of Othello, approx. 18 miles from the clinic site. Please make your reservations early. The motels fill up quickly this time of year with hunters.

ITEMS TO BRING: Bring: Chairs, sunscreen, fly spray, food, drinks, water bucket, riding helmet is recommended.

MARK RASHID CLINIC DIRECTIONS: I-90 Heading East. Take Hwy 26 exit. Go past Royal City approx. 12 miles and look for mile marker 28. 1/2 mile after that take a left turn on 'D' S.E.  Follow signs from here. Go 2 miles and turn right on 15.1 (gravel road) 15.1 curves into 'E' S.E.. Once you drive past a dairy on the left hand side of the road go approx. 3/4 mile and turn right onto a canal maintenance road. Follow it 3/4 mile until you come to our place.
